The Final Countdown
The Count is restricted in numbers and I had been in Northants till the Polling Station closed
and went home opened a bottle of wine and stayed awake most of the night.I had been in Dudley helping the previous evening and wished everyone good luck
The results came flowing in and a blue pattern emerged on the Countries map but what also was clear was that neither the Conservatives or Labour would have that majority vote they required to take over the next Government.
I had heard from the young adults in Dudley who had given their time to help voluntary deliver and canvass the area and kept in touch on the chat line on facebook and who were proud of their candidate who they supported. The photographer had been efficient in making sure the recent photos taken at the count were on facebook for those to see who coundnt attend the count that evening. The candidate Chris Kelly had looked nervous to begin and then after his winning speech he spoke on radio and had gained confidense. The results for Dudley North came in much later on Friday afternoon and although hadnt gained that seat had come really close.
News began to arrive on facebook from friends around the Country and I realised we would ned to keep in touch especially if another election was to be called.
friday evening I met friends, councillors and the new MP Chris Heaton Harris at the Conservative Club for an informal gathering and yesterday a message from Chris on facebook
to say he was on his way to London where he would meet the team there.
I had known Chris for over ten years during his polictical career when he was an MEP for the east Midlands and supported him when he was selected as our local candidate.
The final countdown and a friend photo appeared on facebook taken by her daughter.Karen and I had attend SOS High School back in 1968 and one of her daughters was attending Sheffield Hallam. I had linked a friendship with BUCF group and had attended a meeting with the Shadow Minister for International Development at Birmingham University during the election.
photos of that meeting soon appeared on facebook for everyone to see who entered my site.
I shall speak today at the Market Place event supporting our Youth services and for those who attend I can make aware how facebook can bring people together and engage with Youth today giving them the opportunity of reading more about polictics, religion, crime, families, the environment and health and well being, these are important issues in their lives today.
After the results were announced and it was clear that important decisions were to be made
there were those who had entered my site to become friends on facebook which has now incresased to over 320 friends.
I was pleased to see that Ed Vaizey was busy in london with the team helping to make those decisions.
We had all voted for change but also for our Country and our leader David Cameron has tough times ahead with important decisions to make and needs our support, our proffessionalism, and the team working together, "We are all in this Together"
The results were still arriving on Friday afternoon and a decision who will go be in Government still hasnt been decided.
Messages were sent through facebook with concern with what happens next but also messages that are memorable to those who will always remember the General Election 2010 and the amount of seats that were gained by the Conservative Party also thsoae who came a close second will have that chance to try again.
The Campaign had been long for those candidates who were selected three years ago and had begun their campaign at that time.
A tax rebate in 2008 had given me the opportunity of travelling the country helping with the different campaigns and soon came to realise which were marginal areas and which were winnable and where I could help most. The whole programme of events for each campaign had been significant and many people had volunteered in each area to assist getting those programmes achieved and the results started to flow in the early hours of Friday morning this week.
I had recieved a letter from David Cameron written from "The Bottom of his heart, thanking everyone for their help in this General Election and those who had voted Conservative.
It had been an impressive result and all those who worked with him also sent everyone a huge thankyou.
Now important decisions have to be made and we have to be patient knowing whatever is decided is right for our Country.

New Learning /New Knowledge/ New Experience
Time this week after the christmas period to relax at home, swim at the leisure club and to see the New Year in my flat. I had watched as the sky adorned with white firweworks last night and rested my back whichwas aching again. I knew from experience when my back gave way and I couldnt move in 2001 that occassionaly when it slipped again I have to excericise and rest.
The Change in Climate effects us all in different ways and 2009 we experienced the full range of weather changes throughout the year and will remember the floods in Cumbria where bridges collapsed and people died and others will have replace so much that was destroyed.
A visit to Buckingham Place garden party in my pink outfit where I enjoyed afternoon tea ,listening to the Jazz band and a walk around the Rose garden when the rain came down likeI'dnever seen before with hailstones too and we could just stand with our umberellas and I did have my trenchcoat with me to cover the outfit.
The sun came out in Buxton when I visited for a day to attend the Opera House to hear David Cameronspeak.I had taken a picnic and later called in at Tissington to stop for lunch.
I had traveled to Derbyshire many times since 1973 when I began at the hotel in Daventry and spent time relaxing, and walking goldie the hotels dog around the dales.
Christmas 2009 and my visits to the Nursery and Childrens centre I had tried to capture christmas as it was 100yrs ago with cutouts to decorate for the tree, hide and seek. musicalpass the parcel with a gold coin for them all, a story to read and songs to sing.
Everyone will capture that true meaning in their own ways, with family, friends and those who have kept in touch with you over Christmas.
Now for Change in 2010;-a new learning, new knowledge and a new experience with the change in 2010. I had re-captured the headline in our localpaperduring 2009 and found that by August 2009 the town was weathering the economic slump well.
We had began to build and strengthen our Communities, working hard together to achievethe outcomes by Dec 2009.with Community spirit there was new build, the chance for the young to join together each week at the Vineyard Community Church.a new durable playarea at Nene Hall which will give the young the chance to play out at anytime.and a prestigous award for development design before they were even built giving Daventry a sustainable construction centre.I had always kept the headlines of interest since I began writing myself in 1996 and headline in December 2009 show that the results of a consultation have kept plans for a Marin afloat in Daventry.
I shall be Getting Back to Work in 2010 with mornings work in Rugby and my Councilloring will still keep me busy with meetings to attend, Governors, DDC, NHS etc.
WorkingLInks for Northants had achieved their targets in the last quarter of the year with over 400 people getting back to work. There many still unemployed and with new initiatives hopefullyGetting back to Work will be their aim too,
I had read at Mass this evening ;- the Epiphany of the Lord ;- I read from St Paul to the Ephesians 3;2-3 / 5-6 / a revelation with the mystery unfolded.
Plan Now for Change;- but change will have taken time not only shaking up the House but our own persoanl affairs too , News came through this year that areas of the Church were changing too with some of the Anglian Clergy being trained in the Catholic Church. other areas were being sorted too.The Church are also working with Climate Change and Overseas Development.
The knowledge that we have experienced through sharing Life together ;- on my trip down the Nile I visited the Valley of the Kings and went deep into the mountain side to discover tombs,
I walked deep, deep into this mountianside on my own, too deep in thought to realise I was alone. and then towards the end lights appeared and a single tomb, the walls all coloured brightly with artists pictures, it was amazing, not allowed to take photos but I have a postcard that pictures the tomb. The Sound of Light Show on the last evening held at the tombs in Luxor told the story of the Pharoahs.Once home in one of our village churches where my children were baptised, above the door read......................................................Walking Humbly with our God ;- the Bishop of Northants theme last year. I had returned from that trip Down the Nile and said there was still lots more to discover and the following year another tomb was revealed.
New learning / New Knowledge / New Experience and Change Now in 2010.

A Horse and Carriage.

You cant have one without the other;-
This blog will take us up until the New Year 2010.
The Country Park in Daventry where I cycled most days during the summer break.
A make over at the saffire Studios in London on Bank Holiday Monday in August 2009;- unsure what I had let myself in for when I arrived I stopped for a coffee in the cafe nearby. I plucked up the courage and found myself in this large studio with many others and given a glass of juice and relaxed in one of the large sofas.First there was a consultation on the makeup they would be using. I never wore much makeup so this was new to me and it did make a difference to the finished photographs. My hair was given some soft curls as one of the outfits I would be wearing a hat.I had taken four changes of outfits and chose just four photos to go onto disc and one gave a photo for letter heads wearing a suit.
I planned to attend the party conference in Manchester and was offered to stay with a friend in Stretford where I could take the metro link into the City each day.
I enjoyed Manchester and met many friends. Anne and I attended the concert at the Town Hall and then went for an Italien where we we met others at the same resturant.A standing joke that everywhere I go I meet Leonard and Judith even as far as BuxtonI met them sat on a bench overlooking the river near the Opera House where David Cameron was speaking and then another time at a lunch in Nottingham.
I began to travel alone again after the divorce in 1997/8 and visited france with the twinning in 1999 and then I decided if I was going on holiday it was going to be good and booked to go on the cruise down the Nile in November 2003. I discovered the the cabin boys had regular access to my room and left the clean towels in different shapes each day.I decided if they had access that I would leave leafets out to read some of my recent campaign In Touches and others of a retrest at St Augustines in Daventry, after all their Council and Catholic church was not far from the harbour in Luxor. And everywhere I stayed after that I made sure there was something of interest to read including work that I had written during my stay.
I was pleased to be of help in Manchester and kept my memory sticks close to hand and recent work I had written during my stay.I found myself in a queue for the final speeches at the conference but everyone was soon ushered in and a seat was found with a good view.
I managed to capture photos of the entrance to the Midland Hotel before I left in the direction of the station. bought some sandwiches for the journey and got to the station in time for my train home.
Back home from the conference and I had NHS meetings to attend and a day with the head of CAHMS visiting the Princesss Marina, the PCT HQ and then St Marys in Kettering where I was introduced with all the team.
I received a call from the Rugby Cons office and was asked to call in for an interview with the candidate and chair of association.
I spent the weeks before christmas assisting in different areas of the campaign and meeting the team there. " Getting Back to Work" it was decided 4th January I would start in the mornings.
Christmas and I was busy both at Church and home meeting friends and family.
Tonight I have watched Pride and Prejudice with many Horse and Carriage throughout the story some of which was set in Derbyshire. I had spent many weekends in Derbyshire back in the 70's and knew the are well.
I shall attend the leisure club each day this week before New Year and tomorrow see my youngest sister Sam and her son Cameron at the Heart of Shires for lunch. This cancelled until next week.
The candles flicker in the lounge of my ground floor flat where I moved into on 17th December 2004 just five years ago. I had moved back into Daventry in October 1997 and purchased a flat in the Albany, finding this a struggle I sold and bought a smaller one downstairs in the Albany.and then with back problems I found this one on groundfloor level and attend the leisure club to exercise in the water most days.
I have helped Voluntary since 1993 when I finished work and helped in different areas of Education and Childrens services but getting back to work will help finances.
A recession which had effected everyone this year has been a struggle but at this time each year I balance the accounts and forward plan into 2010
The New Years message has just come through on e-mail which I have read and returned a message.
I studied recent photography and found a delight in the smile visiting the hospice where children were playing with hands in paint. A charity run captured a photo which was terrific and a sense of determination, another relaxed photo meeting the minister of foreign affairs for Poland, the excitement of appearing on stage in Leamington and the serious photo taken when a New Years message was videoed. The visual aspect of his work was important to capture that impact with his audience but the content of his recent speeches have been excellent and will help to build trust amongst anyone who reads them.
Here in one paragraph I have shown the man working at his best in different areas, at times difficult to find a smile but a sense of sensitivity that will carry us forward with the strong emotions that effect us all.
The emotions I have taught young children in their Communication;- from September - December I have attended Nursery and Childrens Centre and taught different areas of Communication that is important to us all.The photos that have been captured during my work will have had an impact on those young childrens listening /looking / learning.
How Close we Are;- Happy and Sad ;- we can't have one without the other.
My Voluntary Work since 1993 has been important but today getting Back to Work is important for obvious financial reasons, you cant have one without the other.
Health and Wellbeing;- an interest through personal experience ;- we cant have one without the other.
Mapping Out Crime / Mapping Out the Environment / Mapping Out Our Childrens Future
Discussion with the foreign minister / a personal experience of the environment /. hands on with children
Communication;- Stages of development. ;- we cant have one without the other.
(Lev Vigotski / Piaget / )
How Close We Are;- ..........................................................
Working in Leadership / Working from Ground Level/
In my formation group I was asked to draw the image of God ;- I drew a tree with roots to hold on,the strength in the bark with the motivation and determination to carry on and branch out and eventually reach the top of that destination and the light shinning through to guide.
Everyone has a journey at sometime in their lives and writing and networking has given me the opportunity of sharing mine with many others in similar situations.
The candles will flicker later to remember the memories of 2009 and I promise you I'm always there.
Annette Rosaline Dunn December 2009
Vice Chair of Daventry District Council May 2009- May 2010
Vice Chair has kept me busy with additional events to attend as Vice Chair for most weeks since last May, meeting and networking with many people.
We cant have one without the other ;- working from ground level delivering, canvassing and meeting the public but also being prepared for important guests to arricve to be show your area.
The photos I collected had improved this month with sheer determination and a boost in moral, the run with sport relief and talking in Church, visits with children or just coming home from working and announcing their "Good News"

The New Face of Politics
"Are we really taking that route down" I had said looking over the edge at the direction we were about to take.I was never going to make the fastest skier but being careful I was able to guide everyone down in a blizzard when the lifts were all shut oneday.I hardly believe I feel this way;-
Wise Men say only Fools Rush in;-
Spread our Wings
Reach for the impossible
Anything is possible when you believe;-

The Way ;- The Truth ;- The Life;-.........................................................
The New Face of Politics ;-the Peoples Politics ;- the Peoples Choice ;- a Silent Prayer Today before we face the problems that we are going to inherit;- we need to lay the foundations in preparation for the future to deliver the Change that is planned and the strength of the Leader who is to carry this weight upon his shoulders but with the support of his team
who will help him carry this heavy load to find
A Call For Action now from people who have been "Let Down"
Lets put a different perspective on the problems we face today and think about the "values" our children are being taught in our school today.
At the beginning of the snowy weather in February I had taken an Assembly on Africa at the Primary School who at the start of a new term were learning about Countries around the World. A good point the children had responded to my introduction because we had met before when I took their Assemblies in the Infant School , the foundation of their schooling.
And then I went onto to say about the History back in the 1960's when Africa was facing a "War" and how this will have effected the people of that Continent.
Daventry linked with Iganga in 1996/7 when I first became involved and began corresponding with a school and womens group. The link grew and now this year teachers from daventry schools have visited to carry out work in their schools.
Yesterday I collected some of my artifacts from the schools and took photos of their artwork in African style placed on display in the entrance.
A different perspective on the problems we face today and we take a look at the foundation stage of a childs schooling and the importance of "Communication" before furthering their education and learning to read and write. But also important are the "Values being taught with all the children.
I began my writing in 1995 and in 1996/7 I had written about "Values" and also led some simple workshops one of them learning about the "fruits of the Spirit" which are our basic values today.I had also written about "Communication and looked at Marketing in one of my micro lesson with Adults .
The "Link" between what our children are learning today and what we have to learn too is closer than you think.
We are beginning a new subject and facing "A New Politics" the basic learning will be;-
Foundation Stage ;- laying those foundations
Communication and Community
Values (fruits of the Spirit)
The understanding of Peoples needs and emotions.
Quality of Life"
Improving our Public Services.
The Climate Change
The Environment
Safety.
Health and Well Being.( Mental Health)
Voluntary
The Economy
Transport
Education
Finance.
Childrens Services.

Too Many Cooks

The Garden of Peace at Action for Childrens Centre;- now ;- determination and motivation ;-Too Many Cooks was the heading used for Action for Children ;- whose work with Vunerable Children helps children and parents over Northants. The photo above was taken when I attended the launch of our new centre locally.I shall be attending a presentation with parents in April where I shall SPEAK.
I'll be there as long as it takes" I signed at our Party Conference and a plaque as Childrens Champion was drawn by an artist and is kept in my study at home.
Home is where the "Heart" is and thumbs up ;- Keep up the good work gives me that motivation today. The majority of my voluntary work is with Children, engaged and actively involved, I plan ahead assemblies and activities for the following term.
Child Protection;- I have just replied to Margaret after reading her article in "First"
"We've reached a turning point in our societies attitude to children. These are NOT eye catching initiatives, headline grabbing polocies designed to suit the next days news, rather than the next generations lives. They require serious, long term determination to revive a CULTUREof social responsibilites in our Country.
We can TURN our Society around . But only if we do it TOGETHER. Its about social responsibility.Dont just ask what can Politicians do? Ask yourself, What can you and I do about it. That is the way to Heal a Nation. Thankyou for those words.
Those were STRONG / POSITIVE words of DETERMINATION.and these words gave me the motivation to continue my work today, working together with services to help improve a CULTURE in our society today. Working TOGETHER to ensure that correct services are in place for the benefit and NEEDS of our CHildren TODAY.
A HOLISTIC approach will enhance our services and move forward with our understanding of the NEEDS of OUR CHILDREN TODAY
The NEWS today was a complete embarrassment to those involved and not an example to set Children today.
Childrens BEHAVIOUR is a problem but constant awareness through the media of ADULTs behaviour!!
At Home in my flat it is CHILD Friendly ;- although my own children are in their late twenties I have always kept ample books ,pens &paper soft toys and games if there are any visitors with children.
We have a Social Responsibility and CHILDREN are OUR FUTURE generation.
When I had the opportunity of visiting Parliament in December 2007 to discuss Policy of our childrens services I made a point of talking about "LEADERSHIP" in our schools and the Governing body that takes a huge responsibilty today.. Also LEADERSHIP in other areas too, will make the difference to those vital decisions made about the services.
Creating a Better World for Future Generation ;- CWO 2007 @QEII centre a full house both members and speakers. This was my 2nd womens conference the previous one held in the Emmanuel Centre ;- Winning with Women . Both Conferences the speakers were excellent and food for thought.2006 I had met ladies from Beverley in Yorkshire who were celebrating Dougs 80th birthday at the Cons Club in Beverley and got me to sign their brochure, sadly he died at election time in May 2008.
2008 CWO Conference I had missed,I was visiting Geneva that day The Red Cross museum and United Nations building.
CWO 2008 Cycle of Life ;- In October 1997 I attended my first conference held in Northants at the Kings Park as a Volunteer helper @ Kilsby Primary School. The Circle of Life from the birth of a Child to Grandparents. later in 1999 I used that Circle as part of my presentation on behaviour to demonstate at what age a child can and does become "Streetwise"
1998-2003 ;- I helped Voluntary @ Onley prison with Education for 16-19yrs and tutors from College visited to observe my classes.I presented my port-folio in 2000 and received certificates for C&G 730 teaching Basic English Skills...
I continued my Voluntary work at Kilsby Primary School and Pre-school until 2003 when later that year in June I was elected in a By-Election.I became Governor @ two schools in Town and continued to help in different areas.
1st July 1989 - 1st july 2009 ;- twenty years, and last year in August 2008 I wrote "Keeping the Mind Alive" which has been accepted by the Mental health Foundation Trust.
I had also written A Swing of Mood in 1995 which I left with the University of Medical Sciencewhen I visted in 2001. on a floppy disc.
I had kept my MIND alive by helping Voluntary and I would advise anyone who has suffered a breakdown, retired from work, unemployed or who has a Mental illness to help Voluntary to keep the mind alive, keep up todate with legislation and to keep in touch with others.
Being Elected a District Councillor and stepping out in the Community was a huge step for me but six years later, still working hard based at home, I have coped extremely well and have enjoyed the challenge.
1998-2004 ;- a part of the SSCC founded in Poitiet who have missions all over the World and during that time I had ran workshops to raise funds for Mozambique and the Phillipines with the help of the Justice and Peace group @ St AugustinesRC Church and it was during that time I helped at Onley Prison with education there.
1998-2009 a voluntary helper with Children Come First part of NACCC when I have attended Universities in the East Midlands for their AGM.
"Keeping the Dream Alive" June 2007 I had the opportunity of visiting Iganga,Uganda and helping with Daventry friends of Iganga and Water for Kids. I had written of my experience of visiting Iganga and able to meet people I had links with for over ten years. This was printed in the Councillors magazine and local newspapers included the Church Diocene paper "The Vine"My son had helped sponsor that trip which I really appreciated and I took out many gifts I had collected from people. The students at the Orphanage had made a blackboard for me with the money I gave them and each day I bought bananas for the children and later a banana tree for them to plant.
It was great to help at William Parker this year on World Water day with memories of the times I took assemblies for World Vision at that school in 1997.
"Too Many Cooks" Action for Children working with Vunerable Children and Parents.
It was worthwhile and fullfiling to speak with parents last week who had finished their parenting course and that it gave then hope and inspiration.
Pick yourself up and shake yourself down and START NOW and lets get it RIGHT.

Too Many Cooks ;- blog author Annette Rosaline Dunn received a Letter from the Holy Father, at her home in Plough Close .I had thanked him for his leaflet for mental health sufferers which would help many people and he in return thanked me for my correspondance.
I also received correspondance from many others with thanks.
I had spoken on World Womens Day of prayer at the Chapel in Welford in 2006 who were representing the Catholic Church that day. It had taken time writing and preparing for that talk on South African Women which was applauded.
I turned a corner this year 2009 decided to help with Lent groups to refresh my knowledge.
Ash Wednesday - Easter ;- I kept in touch with someone who is housebound and was receiving Communion each week during that time.I should have gone to Leeds the week of Ash Wednesday but work kept me at home and I apologised for not attending.
"A Day in the Country " over three hundered attended that day from over Northants and Oxfordshire;- Lets Grow Together Northants LAA logo extended over the boundaries.
1979 ;- I first became a (Conservative ) member and with children arriving in 1980/82 I kept low key and just attended the village functions.October 1997 I was then able to offer more help and assisted in the towns office and watched with interest the next General Elections and then the Local Elections
1989-2009 ;- I can now Communicate more with others and we can see the "Change" and difference that Communication is making with people from all walks of Life.
Plan for Change ;-NOW.
Wednesday 15th April 2009;- mass @ 9.15am and then at home to continue with paperwork.
I have Macmillans funds to collect from regular places that hold events over Easter or who have collection boxes. With a paying in book I shall collect and bank these this week.
A Macmillans Ambassador and committee member since 2003 ;- I initially found out about Macmillans when I visited a patient who was terminally ill and learnt more about the procedure of cancer from the Macmillan nurses who are invaluable today.
Wednesday ;- I collected 350.00 raised over the Easter period for Macmillans with still two more places to visit.
There has been tremendous support for Charities over the Easter period and with the Economic recession people are thinking more about careful budgeting and taking their holidays in Britain over this time.
I have remained at home during this break with the leisure club nearby and also the Country Park for walks I havent needed to use my car too much.
Planning ahead with no holidays booked this year.........................................................................
A weekends Conference in Cheltenham and Ive searched the web and I would need to book the Dinner on the Saturday and find a room. The Spring Forum is already booked.
Hotel Booked and Paid.
Each week I receive news about the Arts from Shadow Minister, an area of interest.
Schools return next week and meetings will keep me busy with Thursday and Friday free before the weekend away.

Preparations for the weekend;- places to go /people to see /what to wear /which colour
Too many Cooks ;-helping through the last two Elections I listened and I learned and I have helped in Education voluntary since 1983 when I have listened and learned.A vunerable position thats hard to answer but he had kept quiet too knowing that we'll see clearly one day and answer.Watch for the content and programmes and wait for the response.
May 1st ;- a bank holiday weekend at home. Last weekend in Cheltenham was lively and I kept busy, attended the dinner and listened to Conference on Sunday after delivering in the morning.
This weekend at home;- it would be great to drop everything and go away somewhere for the weekend but funds are restricted and on my own I shall remain at home.maybe take my camera out to the lakes and walk.
Mapping out the future for our Children is part of the presentation prepared for this weeks presentations skills at Coleshill HQ.

The Carousel
St Lucia ;- December 13th ;- Swedish custom.
Bye George She's Got It................................................
The Classic LOVE Song................................................
They met with the Introduction of an article "Hot off the Press"
And decided together " The Way to Heal a Nation"
But first they had discover themselves by way of another introduction..................................
Too Many Cooks;-................................................
Time is a Healer and the introduction of the "No More Blame Game" gave food for thought.............
Two words began the investigation into the Emotional Development of the Child;- Social
Pedagogy ( the science of teaching) and the training required by all to recognise those basic emotions.

"Reconciliation"
a beautiful solitary statue at Coventry Cathedral.
My interest in the Church over thirty years ;- my daughter born 06-08-1980 and a week later I attended my first communion at the Village Church. We attended regularly as a family and after my breakdown the children attended sunday school until their sport took over on Sundays. They received their bibles from the Bishop of Peterborough and my daughter was confirmed at St Peters in Weedon.I first visited a Catholic Chapel in Osmotherley set above a small cottage Mount Grace had been used for pilgrimages for over 600yrs,its sister chapel is found in Whitby.
Later I travelled the Country visiting Cathedrals and Churches and attending services, going back to where I was confirmed and in the choir at St Edmunds in Shipston on Stour and then the Holy Trinity at Hatton where I was also in the choir. I was made very Welcome and it was interesting to see how church services have altered over 40yrs.
The Long and Winding Road was my own personal journey and later in 2001 I was confirmed into the Catholic Church.
My other interest is collecting old china some inherited but most bought at table tops or in charity shops.
And my other interest is photography which I have many files kept for a rainy day.
I think our most natural photos are taken with children when they are enjoying their activities.
I like to visit the art gallerys, museums and exhibtions when I visit London and occassionly go to the theatre.
Theres one coming in September I would like to see "Breakfast at Tiffanys" Ive never been to New York but my son visited not long after the problems of Sept. 11th 2001.
I collect postcards and have boxes full put away for another rainy day. I do send postcards too and have the matching ones at home here in my flat.A postcard is easy to keep and are keeps sake of places Ive visited.
Ive just found the circular papya I bought from a street stall in Luxor.
The Carousel ;- reminds me of the music we played at home nearly fifty years ago and then the past year seemed like a Carousel of colour, a time for change and reconciliation and a new face for Politics and Religion both have had their faults. A Time to move forward;-
The Village Church Prayer;- Lord help us to face honestly the demands of our faith.
Give us the Wisdom in the use of our time,
and Courage in the offering of our abilities,
Giving our children praise and showing them
encouragement helps their inner strength.
I have shared my writing with others and recent articles have been accepted by the Mental Health Foundation Trust in London and hopefully will give a better understanding to many people. The prayer above is "RIGHT" to face honestly, the giving of our time and the Courage to offer those abilities. And to show our children praise.Quite simple really. But first comes the change and reconciliation. and then to find that Quality of Life that will suit the needs of everyone today.
To Forgive / To say Sorry / To Change / the HANDS of the Father on the return of the Prodigal son, the hardest Lent group I led when we used postcard paintings of Rembrants Prodigal son.the feelings I recorded from that group and to finish LOVE.
To me Parliament was like a Church where I was made very Welcome each time Ive visited, with its historic features, ancient paintings and large Bibles, where proceedings are followed and where we shall see the new face of Politics..............................................by-Annette Rosaline Dunn.
Love has its highs , Love has its Lows,Love has ins and outs and ups and down, like a joy ride.
Sometimes its hot sometimes its cold Loves like a Circus and youre on a trapeze.Rich or poor, Lose or win Loves like a river and were going to jump in. Goes Love.............................................
A Colourful carousel...............................................
remember the WHITE mist at the top of the mountain and as you take that trail down you can see clearly and the colourful backdrop appears as you reach the bottom.!!!
I've always had marriage in mind, the only true way and life can begin a second time around.
Give and take,I'm a Childrens champion, caring and sharing each others,a distance apart with each others work but that wont always be the way, communication willl bring us together and respect for one another.
I'm now in training with a second hand bike restored I'm attempting the tracks nearby the flats
careful with my breathing I make sure Ive got water with me and I must buy a helmet.
I teach 40-50 children every summer but I shall make a positive decision this year as its been over ten years since I became an instructor. It was about 15yrs ago when I first had an asthma attack and once I realised I cycled gently and drank plenty of water and eventually I cycled further I havent cycled since I moved to Daventry and then my cycle was stolen so Im a bit out of practise but Im not giving up.
Taking three days off this week and spending time relaxing at home.
A caller for NDCS ;- deaf children ;- I give in many different areas and went online to donate.
The family Tree certainly opens cans of worms and became difficult when I was introduced to someone in Liverpool at a dinner and they had been looking into family tree, I sent info and rang when I returned home, he seemed interested in my details as he lived nearby to where I was born but confidential information through the Army would halt us finding out more.
Family Tree ;- I had spent twenty years slowly gathering information, it was interesting to discover more about different illnesses that included Diabetes and Mental Health in the family,
this can be useful in the future for our children putting preventive measures into places.
Keep your fingers crossed!! cycled this morning, walked to leisure club for a swim.
evening at home and hot soapy bath,
12.30 and I couldnt sleep this evening.
When I was in London recently at the launch for Arts and creative Inds I also walked along Jerimiah St, my favourite small street full of different shops including our oldest cheesemongers, Paxton and Whitfield who had celebrated 200yrs back in 1997.There was a mens hat shop selling straw hats similar to the design I bought for a trip down the Nile.
Dickens had written part of the introduction for Fortnum and Mason " They came in fours they came in twos, they came by foot and some by horse and carriage, all to buy the picnic baskets from Fortnum and Mason, it just adds to the flavour and panache of the ambiance.
LOCAL/DEBATE /PEOPLE / The Guardians debate this week ;- A NEW POLITICS.written how he would speak ;- examining the deeper political problem that we face today.scrutiny in debate / step by step trying to understand whats gone wrong? The realism that we have very little control over the World around us.
Technology can put information that previuosly went to just a few but now can go out into the hands of many. And from this scrutiny it was decided that "we need a massive.radical redistribution of power."
"Winning with Women" alongside men ;- last years local elections saw four women stand in Town seats and "Action" days were held with other women supporters from the area.We held an Action day on the estate with our Local Police officers for that area and flyers went out "Listen to us on Crime" which later led to investigative enquiries in that area and this year I have been helping the ASBO officer for DDH as Champion ASBO for the Board and now Community development too.I was the youngest at 54yrs and we all succeeded in gaining all four seats.Another Action day was held outside one of our Primary schools where we could meet Mums collecting their children from school.I looked at the Community on Draytonward differently during this last year and slowly made progress and trust in that area.I launched the Playhouse nursery who now hold daily sessions at Nene hall and where I am engaged and actively involved.I have recently walked the area with our local support officers and DDH looking to improve the environment in that areaand hopefully designing someting that will involve young people vie;- The Medway Art trail.
I had already spent a day with the Fire brigade situated on Dratonward with the local elections last year and realised the importance of their job.
One of the first courses I took as a new Councillor six years ago was "Health and Safety in the Workplace and this has been useful in all areas of my work, another certificate to update was First Aid also useful. As a Volunteer and Chair of Children Come First I was already attending conferences annually at the East Midland Universities. As a new Councillor I went over the Cherwell DC on the Committee for Joint O&S for Health and I gained much knowledge in that area and attended many conferences for Health.. Once I finished at Cherwell when PCTs became one in Northants I led Supporting Childrens Services with O&S in Daventy.and a Public meeting was soon arranged. Reccommendations went through to Full Council in Septemebr 2007 and after I became Childrens Champion for DDC.My Voluntary work had been useful and I was pleased I could combine that with being a Councillor too.
My interest in Education, Health and the Arts have all led to meetings in London during the past year and I have been able to contribute in small ways in those areas.
A meeting in June at the Univerity College in London with shadow Minister for education will be discussing 16-19 yrs old , the area I am qualified to teach and had helped voluntary with that age in Onley Prison for five years.
Our work is diverse and flexible and with my children in London I can stay over and have meals with them sharing their busy life in the City.I've shared the best of both worlds with my childrens , spending that important time with them until they went to University and then visiting and staying on campus with them in Lancaster and Portsmouth.
Time was flexible with my voluntary work since 1993 and I was able to be diverse in the areas I helped usually recreational subjects ie;- Cookery / swimming/tennis./cycling and educational visits. Today I am still involved with activities ;- communication/healthy eating /cycling and taking Assemblies. But I can be flexible again after taking those for over ten years I can think ahead to other areas that will need my help.
Women Today ;- Flexible and Diverse in our work but also involved with our families too.
The "Balance" is important.
I was always at home to collect them from school in the afternoons which I felt was the most important time of day for children and young adults, time to unwind, have a drink, a chat and relax at home where there is company.
Today with them both working and living in the City my time is flexible for my own work.
That can CHANGE again depending on circumstances and Flexible and Diverse is what we need to be. I have worked from home since 1984 when I ran a small catering business and was able to be at home in the afternoons to collect the children from school, not just mine but other children too.
"Anticipation" ;- trust and anticipate and think about the person.....................................
still anticipating !! not always an easy word because it CHANGES depending on the person and their different circumstances with their hopes and dreams.
It is just that the more we grow and mature, the more we come to understand them....................
Saturday 30th May 2009 ;- 4-6pm Danetre Music school ;- My daughter was five years old when she began the music school then held at the Grange School and that was 24yrs yrs ago. She went onto to play for Northants Music school band playing flute and I enjoyed visiting the local theatres where they played.Emma was just four years old when she read music and began playing recorder.
My daughter and son were trained to County level at Tennis and received money towards their rackets from the Rugby Club in Daventry, they both went onto play for Northants County teams. My son also trained with Northants Cricket at the local village club.and when they were eight and nine they also played Chess for the County and travelled the Country. It was amazing I ever finished my tapestry but it took me seven years watching all their events and then I promptly had it framed. My son also played football for Stretton on Fosse and matches were often held at Princethorpe.Encouragement and Support to succeed in what they would like to achieve.
I had worked out my programme of well being and swam, cycled, walked and aerobics, keeping fit.
It was during those years I was slowly getting better and gaining confidense and then in October 1996 I took myself to the Hindu Diwali festival of LIghts in Rugby and once home again I wrote about and introduced the festival at pre-school. My written work was seen and I was asked to write the local news for three newspapers and I continued with that until 2006. Today I still write for Daventry .I finished the Voluntary work at the local school in February 2003 and was elected in a by-election in June 2003
Divorced in 1998 ;- I had moved back into Daventry in 1997 ;- I kept myself busy helping Voluntary in different areas and there was never thought of another relationship. !!!!
Voluntary work and Supporting the children ;- 1990-2000
I had joined the french visitors last weekend and Catherine and I had a long chat before dinner. We had spoken about whats happening in the Church in Hericy I had once read in but she had also noticed the Change in me and was pleased to see I was looking so well.
I had been with the Twinning for ten years now and have enjoyed my visits to Hericy/ FranceI had also visited Evereux for the sporting twinning of Rugby between 1993-1997 playing tennis and visiting Monets Garden and Honfleur.
This gives you a picture of how we all grew and I was missing just one area of that programme, the top of the tree which I shall bring down to ground level and start from the beginning slowly branching out as things develop in a relationship. In fact Ive probably gone through the programme twice but still missing that vital ingredient.
Tomorrow an invite to a concert at Danetre Music school from 4-6pm.The chance to take a guest if there was anyone Id like to come with me, but I've been alone this week relaxing at my flat, anyway if someone would like to ask me out I've been home to answer the phone and I'm used to going out alone .and I understand work committments..
Sunday a civic service to attend as Vice Chair and hopefully get to wear a hat.
Church is Choice;-
"Who Makes the Rules" a newspaper article where I was visiting a local village school and answering the childrens questions.I try and collect the newspapers where I am featured but the archives are slowly growing with others I have collected.
No holidays planned this year ;- I shall check the bike, buy a helmet and practise cycling further, from my flat I could easily cycle into Welton , a small village nearby.
Hello!! " If Only" forever my Love......................................................
If Only there was Time to say
the things that really matter.
The Time alone together to say
how much you really care.
If Only when the Time is right
you gave each other a direction,
And understanding in which to follow
and to Trust in one another with
Respect and Love, If Only seems so far away
And yet , there were times , together
In quiet, in thought, in Peaceful Prayer,
That we did all those things and yet,
We still questioned, " IF Only"
But we have given each other direction,
Understanding, respect .love and hope
In our Lives, our Journey together
And the future is ours to decide,
If Only seems so far away and this day
Is Ours to pray for Hopes and dreams
Together with Love from Annette.2009
This poem I wrote as part of the Journey Home written in 1999 ;- we have journeyed together except I was working behind the scenes at that time and concentrated on my childrens lives at that time both at University, helped at the Conservative office during the time of the "swing"and was also re-educating at Rugby College. January 2009 ;- ten years later and planning for a Change with Patience,Hope,Courage and Love, If Only is here waiting.Wer'e in this together and when you are ready, just call.A busy week ahead and feeling fit raring to go.
Being wanted I never knew .....now I am certain.........I can be me
I had worn a pretty blue skirt today with short sleeved navy jacket to attend the Music School concert.
My date for the Garden Party has come through for 7th July 2009 ;- I've already got the hat, dress and jacket.,I couldnt resist the pink hat!! Just keep Smiling!! and TRUST.
Planning Ahead for Change;- I remember in 1972 planning ahead for the job in Majorca and I could have gone at anytime except I never passed my driving test, disappointing but I never went to Majorca but I had suitcase packed ready.Planning ahead today I have clothes ready in the event of any occassion and I've turned out the old suitcase and put the wedding dress into the Charity shop. It took me six goes to pass the driving test and I remained in Daventry and District since 1972 when my father was in charge at Whilton Locks water works..
Sorting the Study is for my benefit, if I had to share this with someone at least I know where I can find everything and in which file.
I need to log exactly which training course I've been to, conferences attended and committee and boards I sit on.

Planning ahead for Change;-
July 7th 2009 ;- a garden Party ;- I had queued six hours to see the Queen Mum in State, signed the rememberance book in the marquee and the a further wait before entering St Stephens. At 6pm on Saturday evening I was guided down the red carpeted stairs on the right side just as everything was stopped at 6pm for the changing of the guards which had given me time alone for a few minutes, above there were officials and cameras as I was guided to the exit. The following week I took the train to Windsor from Banbury the guard asked if Id like the train to Paddington so I got on and soon realised I was on a touring train that didnt stop at platforms and after much discussion I was asked if I could climb down a ladder at Oxford where TV camers were waiting for Nelson Mandela visit and I took a fast train to Windsor..
We had met the Queen Mum as a family when we walked up the Mall and crossed over the turning to Clarence House when she stopped the car to wave.
Albert Edward Clements was my grandfather, he was Catholic and was always proud of his cars with leather seats and highly polished. His interest was woodwork and would spend hours in the shed putting together items for their retirement homeHe never went to war after an accident at his home when he was younger left him with a limp.before moving back to Wincanton after great grandfather died they lived in Wimbeldon. I stayed with my grandparents over the shop and enjoyed going out to help deliver the groceries in boxes. He died two weeks after my son was born.in 1982
I inherited an old draughts table with a swivel top and a georgian leg that my grandfather had made and a tray that he had made the frame and inside a piece of needlecraft with the numbers
9823 / 1 / 530 and also china had been put by for me after grandmother died.
It was many years later in 1996/7 that I found out he was Catholic and I was the only person who took that route , knowing I would discover our family tree through the Church. I was at a service in the Village back in 1996/7 when it was announced that Rev Peter Clay would take the service.
Peter Clay is my second cousin, his mother was my Nans sister and we hadnt met until that day in the Church.I had just met his daughter last year a week before his wife died. I was then to meet more of the family at the funeral where I also knew all the Clergy from the area.
There were two other deaths last August all connected to the family.Richie Davies was my Nans youngest brother and lived in Milton Keyes, the other person was Ivy Hines who died alone in Kent, another second counsin on my mothers side of the family who I remember taking me out in her car when I was staying with my grandparents. Before she retired she worked as Inspector of Childrens services at Croydon Council, I never did receive a photo of her, if I walked into Croydon Council they would think they'd seen a ghost.
Richie Davies kept in touch once we had met through the Council and I still have the serviette of notes I made when we lunched together.
An interesting Journey but like all family trees I had probably opened a can of worms.!!!
"Keeping the Mind Alive" twenty years ago but also the wisdom to keep silent about everything I had remembered and slowly writing about those memories but keeping the best till last!!
positive finding when we look into Families health records because I think that could save us a fortune in the future, the knowledge that will help generations to come.
I wonder how many people who have read my story "Keeping the Mind Alive and have realised that has happened to them and how we can help each other.Mind over matter.
I had used my knowledge and experience wisely and also took note of what my grandmother had told me before she died and who also thanked me for telling her about my Mother ansd knew I was determined..
.
I was always intrigued with the family tree and knew there was french in the family, my great grandfather had been a jockey in St Ettienne and came over to this Country to work for Lord Rothchild and changed the spelling of his name from Davies to Davis.
Richard Davis from Milton Keynes had told me about my great grandparents, he was once a market gardner and once decorated the Savoy, he was obviously multi tasking and even baked a cake for us when we visited.
It was found that great grandmothers family on my fathers side back in 1674 were Leicestershire farmers.
My fathers parents were first cousins and that is interesting when looking into health and genetics of their children.
On the doorstep our family tree is discovered, my Nan one of eleven who were all born in Queens St, Bletchley and her decendants will be nearby Bucks/Northants/Leicester.
My other Nan although lived most of her life in Wincanton will have been born in Derbyshire and the family moved back to Wincanton probably for work. Her father my great grandfather was a Conservative Councillor in Wincanton.
When I first moved to Daventry I spent many weekends at the caravan in Derbyshire at Alfreton, taking the golden labrador, we walked miles. My daughter spent time in Derby too on one of the largest climbing walls in the country. We had looked at Derby University for her but she prefered Lancaster.
The Music concert this afternoon was inspirational with children of varying ages all playing together to such a high standard. The older young people were reaching the heights in their groups and quartets but still joined with the other age groups to all complete a string extravaganza that we didnt often see happen.Well Done I had been really impressed.and those behind the scenes were thanked for their hard work and leader today Jane Hargreaves was presented with a small display of flowers for her hard work by Annette Rosaline Dunn.
We are now working extremely hard to achieve the highest standard in all our Childrens services which will encourage and support our children from 0-19yrs.The Leader had included the importance of Childrens services in his speech in February and is determined that we shall achieve that high standard working with everyone including those on ground level who are involved in the services.
As Childrens Champion I have been looking at every" Aspect"of our services that are available including courses on Parenting.I had given inspiration and hope to those Parents I presented with certificates for Parenting.I have also fed back information to our Ministers in different areas including Health as that is part of the services too.I am now on the Curriculum committee as Governor of one of the Primary schools so I am learning more about each subject taught and the extra training that teachers are now receiving. I shall be interested in the latest Sats results just taken this term.Learning more last term about the development of the childs brain and a babies sleep pattern all helps to focus on the whole person, I have sat in on baby and mother groups with music and then at the pool where I swim each day.Training and awareness of a childs emotions is important for everyone to learn and recognise. Some of these courses have only recently been introduced and will take time to filter through the system before we can see results.
Stages of development within a Childs learning also includes stages of Parental involvementAs your Child progresses through their learning process, a parent can be involved with their recreational activities and whilst the child is learning they can also gain from their Parents expeience and knowledge or encouragement and support in those activities. My daughter and I have been to see most of the Ballets at the Theatre in Nortants while my son will have attended Rugby,Tennis and Football matches locally too, and they both will have appreciated those live events whilst also gaining enjoyment from our company too. Once living in London there were
museums, art galleries, exhibitions and places to eat out and so extending their knowledge.
Sport extends into young adulthood and today they still play tennis, golf, cycle , swim etc.
A firm foundation in place for the future of our children.A foundation of Trust,Support.Encouragement and Love.
I've made a start on clearing my desk, throwing some of the rubbish and keeping what matters most.OK.
Sunday 31st May 2009 ;- getting ready for the first engagement as VC at a Civic service this morning and Ive kept to a suit and silk blouse with a light blue hat and scarf, the car should be here by 9.30am.Sorting diary and other engagements with a busy time ahead and good practise.
My daughter a true blonde is preparing to go back to University for a year to take a PGCE to teach at Primary later next year.I shall ring both son and daughter later this evening who are training for a tri-athlon next weekend. Ive always been darkish hair and I remember the photographer on board the cruise in 1975 taking many photos.when my hair was longer.and my dresses then bought in Jean Greens. It was a time when you dressed in long dresses to go out in the evening.
The Civic Service with all its dignitary from Northants District, Borough and Town Councils met together on arrival for coffee with the procession
into the Baptist Church followed by the service on Pentecost Sunday with live music from young people and choir.later everyone gathered in the hall for a light lunch.best hats were worn for the occassion when the sun shone all day.
A swim this afternoon and then home at my flat all evening and later sorted out resources for healthy eating with the Nursery tomorrow early @ 9.15am.A catering Supervisor before I had children and although I ran a unit here in Town I also travelled out each week to management meetings in Bucks. Headquarters was at Hitchin and I took a book keeping course for two weeks staying over in a Hotel. After I had my children I cooked at the elderly home in the village for two years before starting my catering business.I taught cookery at the village school for over ten years and today taking small groups of children teaching communication but also learning about Healthy eating at a young age is a good time to start.
Not a Word was said!!ssshhhhhh............................................................................................
Keep up the Good Work...........................................................goodnight..........................
Monday 1st June 2009 ;-Taking Steps with the Nursery children today learning not only about healthy eating but also the importance of Breathing correctly too.At such a young age they will be following footsteps from their parents, teachers and helpers at Nursery. Trying to guide them and let them try and see foods that are different. They followed some simple exerciser routine
listening to "Steps" music and then calmly sitting and breathing in and out gently.
25yrs ago we were staying in Guernsey for a holiday when my son was rushed into hospital and I stayed with him overnight. All the correct tests were taken and he was put on a immobiliserand the following morning I was told he had suffered an Asthma attack and was allergic to feathers and fur.At home the doctor prescribed an inhaler which stayed in the cupboard and I made sure he drank plenty of water and exercised, then he would have been learning to swim.It was fifteen years ago I suffered an attack and at first I paniced but once told I could remedy that with drinking plenty more water and learning to calmly breath and amange without an inhaler.
We have coped without inhalers and learnt about remaining calm in that situation and then drinking water. That was my theory but then I did watch a documentary with a Russian Doctorwho was teaching a group of patients how to cope calmly without their inhalers and after aweeks instruction they had all started to cut down on the use of inhalers.
Although I still follow the doctors prescription for children we are looking after we can still encourage them with their breathing and having a drink of water.
When I took the cycle out last week I made sure I had bottled water with me which I needed when stopping occassionly en route for a drink.
I had taken a different route when looking at health situations and also education too.
I had spent twenty years quietly researching " mental health" and as long as the programme I designed for myself is "keeping my mind alive" hopefully this will help others too.prevention / medication/ diet / exercise / activites that will keep the mind alert.recognising the pressure of stress and how we can combact that/ recognise the need to "change"that will be the hardest decision to make / knowing there is stress and making that decision to "Change" before stress gets any worse
In my own case it was left too late / it wasnt recognised and then it took six years to get back on track and then recognising the need to remain helping Voluntary and to follow the programme I had designed which I have completed twice through.
Taking a different "Path" with my health and my interest in Education led a different route too.
I had the opportunity of my own cookery classes that I structured and designed a plan for each Term that followed the Church calendar. I wasnt just baking cakes and biscuits with each child, the lesson included literacy, numeracy,IT,Art &design and History& geography, science based around cookery. A subject that every child enjoyed, thats a plus because while every child enjoyed they were also learning and carrying that back into the classroom.
I had enjoyed teaching that subject too but problems with my back led me to decide that prevention in taking away that class teaching over low tables would be best long term.there were other Voluntary helpers to take cookery and occassionaly I went in just to take one class to include their work in cookery to help Numeracy and have taken other classes too including swimming until 2007.
The Educational trips I helped with I recorded, took many photographs and logged these for my interest. Work from my Cookery classes I also logged and recorded and this was left with school.
I was also a correspondant at that time writing for three newspapers was able to include Daventry into Northants paper and my articles on Education and Church were included in all three.
I had also looked at my Back problem and attended a presentation on Backs. I had moved to a different area of town, to a ground floor flat and no immediate flights of steps, to an area where there was landscaped views and walks nearby and I also began swimming and taking exercise daily. The pain began to ease and then I took the trip to Africa ,fell backwards playing netball and once home realised the initial pain had disappeared. Putting theory into practise, when stress caused the back to slip once more then in four days I knew which remedies to take.
I had changed my type of work and began walking more, swimming daily with exercise and I do climb flights of stairs especially in the underground in London
Tuesday 2nd June 2009 ;- 2pm Daventry Town Centre Partnership ;- car in garage today and I shall take the walk into Town.;- apologies for missing the meeting in Northants today .
I need to sort dates and times for Cycling this term and then swim before lunch and meeting at 2pm.Invite to Garden Party at the Palace in July.
I walked into Town for the meeting today and with the weather still bright later I took a leisurely walk back around the Country Park to Lang Farm stopping beside the waters edge to rest.I have walked the C/P for over 30yrs always popular when the children were younger.
It had taken me only 40 minutes to get into Town and I called into the Conservative Club where I had a drink.
TIME;-
TIME;- together
TIME;- shared
PARTING ;- SAD BUT time NEVER WASTED
THE CLOSED CHAPTER;- I had chosen a different PATH ;- January 2009 and the TIME and PLACE will be decided for me.
A CANDLE in the DARK ;- A Fresh Start and taking a New Direction planned for a Change.
we must focus on moving forward, turning the tables and looking ahead.
cycling will be excellent training for me ;- Slowing Down, Stopping and looking in all directions
before making a move.Considering my Options;-my choice!!!!top shelf position.
The candle flickers in the lounge window;- Let Love Shine a Light;-
I had stopped at the waters edge today where I could see across the resevoir, where the water was gently rippling and the weeping willow cascaded in front giving shade from the glowing sun.I had taken the pathway around the park, keeping on the flat and then stopping for water and relaxing in the bright sun.I had walked that route so many times when I first moved back to Daventry in 1997 and today I was feeling quite confident again.
Walking into Town again today, collect the car, call into the Library and then the Volunteers at the C/P.
A cooler day for walking and I stopped for a photo call at the Tennis Courts on the way to collect my car and then onto the library for Mind and Spirit before going to join the Volunteers at the C/P . I enjoyed a swim before lunch at home and then continuing with work.
I tried the Building Society three times today ;- Ill try again tomorrow, the remainder of car bill to pay tomorrow and polling station all day
January 20th 2009;- Peace Sunday ;- "Combact Poverty and Build Peace . Fight today for what is Right and Patience and Peace together like a Horse and Carriage will help build peace.
The Popes statement that day on Peace Sunday and today anticipation for what lies ahead;-
the recession this year will have left many in debt with a rise in prices for essential items and no increase in income.Juggling the budget each month this year but still not prepared for the increase in electricity from 40.00 D/D to 130.00 a month , this will apply to pensioners and all those living alone a bill this time last year was 80.00 and this year over 300.00.Increase on other essentials too it isnt surprising the anger about expenses at present. The vunerable will have been effected this year and this is something we all need to remember.
We are all looking and waiting for a Change ;- a positive way forward and planning for the future,
I have spent two days walking into Town which takes about 40mins but a slower pace that enables you to "Think" and listen for the unexpected because when it happens we need to be prepared......................................................................................................................
I am still corresponding Voluntary for Daventrys local paper after writing for three newspapers for ten years encouraging news from Education and the Church.Today I attended the coffee and cakes with our volunteers who received certificates and recognition for the hours they spend volunteering and could also write about this event.Last weekend I attended the Music school where my daughter will have attended 24yrs ago and again to show encouragement I was able to write news for the local paper.Supporting Volunteering and also encouraging the talent and gifted young people we have today.
When we speak of Voluntary work that is unpaid where many are giving of their time.
Tonight I shall attend the AGM for "Contact" in Daventry who restore and give furniture to those in need and we learnt more about the hard work that is appreciated by many who are given the furniture and household items from Contact where all who assist help Voluntary.Contact relies on funding for premises, general running of Contact and restoroing the goods.
January 20th 2009 ;- Peace Sunday ;- Combact Poverty / Build Peace and Fight for what is Right.this is to remind everyone what we began the year with and where we are today in June 2009 .A year since I wrote to the Pope thanking him for his newsletter praying for those with Mental Health and I received a reply from Rome and later I wrote to our Shadow SOS for Health feeding back about Mental Health.I have looked at different areas of Voluntary work that assist the mental health and build their self esteem sometimes this will lead to work but worthwhile for those who have to remain unemployed.
NOW FOR CHANGE ;- Patience and Peace like Horse and Carriage will build Peace and when we lay those firm foundations we are beginning to shape the future.
A Shake up ? / A Re;- Shuffle ? / A Complete Re-Think / Listen with Anticipation /We've Got What it Takes / Delegate / And We'll Show You What We've Got /Keep on the Direct Route /
Help us Help You.;-
working Together and we'll meet at the final Destination..........................................................
Eyes on the Prize.............................

Fingers Crossed.....X The Map was Routed out on tonights TV ;- The SW where 50yrs ago I was helping grandfather delivering groceries and my great grandfather was once a Cons Councillor and from the postcards he sent he had a sense of humour too., he had moved into the SW from Wolverhampton and his daughter my grandmother was born in Derbyshire.I spent two days at Yeovil DC with a presentation and lunch under the concorde and also a tour of the district.Derbyshire I spent many weekends walking around Dovedale and met many Councillors last summer in Bournemouth on July 1st.It was in a pool in Derbyshire that I went off the high board and never remember landing in the water but I had remembered the Blue John Mines.
Knowledge and experience of "The Fear of Crime" I am now able to assist as ASBO Champion for DDH Board in an area which has effected myself too. I had moved away from the centre of Town where I was "Vunerable" to a quieter area that has landscaped views and walks nearby.
Safety and Security ;- the flats where I live now have an exterior door which I have one key for and there are two locks on my inner front door. Windows all locked and fire smokealarm checked.I keep a daily diary and out regularly most days where I will meet people who know me.
This is dual purpose not only for Security and Safety but for Health reasons too, I had damaged my back in the previous flat waking up one morning and not being able to move. That week I had paniced and moved furniture and then in pain for sometime time after. Changed my work.moved to a different area and exercised at the pool each day slowly eased the pain and I learnt how to cope in that situation when the back slipped again and then I bought a new mattress. I had lived alone for eleven years. A presentation showed where the stress lay and how we can combact that. There is an Atmospheric Atmosphere when someone has entered your property and your senses do react in different ways and this does effect your Health.
Areas of Health I have offered advice but no cure for all as we are all indvidual but looking at prevention whereever we can helps.
Disablism? are you a Victim? Report It;- 08453 700 700.
A Powerful Agenda ;- Monday 12th November 2007;- with panels of speakers talking of Africa, the Environment and Women as Peacemakers ansd speakers who shared their knowledgwe and experience of issues and problems in our World today. The networking that day was especially important passing on vital information that can help in the future.
Women for Women International; gave a powerful interpretation of life and hope that generated amongst those we meet, the importance of correspondance with those who need our help, sharing our "Contacts" and our Experience.
The Leader that day gave food for thought to women who have suffered through difficult situations.I missed last years CWO "The Circle of Life" but my first conference in October 1997 was named that too. The Circle of Life from Birth to grandparenting covering every eventuality, a large subject area.
I shall try and attend this years held at the QEII in ;-
Mental health
Voluntary ;- the opportunity to give time in areas of experience.(unpaid)
The Fear of Crime
Safety and Security.
Winning with Women alongside Men ;- a different perspective when you are reaching fifty and children are working and living away from home, that is the best time for women to be involved and they will offer the womens perspective, a fresh pair of eyes and their experience and knowledge, abilities and skills will give a new dimension, a dynamic duo.
Vunerable.
"Think" positive ;- and Jane Austin wrote ;- Think Humbly of ourselves, to be severe only in the examination of our own conduct, to consider our fellow creatures with kindness and to judge of all they say and do with that Charity which we would desire of them ourselves.
I was shown her headstone where there was an array of beautful pink flowers that day I visited Winchester Cathedral and where I bought this prayer card. ;-
The Guildhall at Portsmouth.;- a memorable occassion when my son graduated but also times spent visiting Portsmouth, the Isle of Wight and Winchester. On one of my visits I went to the Mary Rose Museum where the guide had told me all about the dyes they used for colouring the materials for clothes . I had once hired a Tudor style dress in a soft fabric in this rich marroon colour. The dye for the colour of Leicestershire cheese originally came from a tree and also the King of Cheeses "Stilton" recipe came from a Leicestershire farmers wife.
The roots where we hold on firm and gain nourishment, the bark that gives us strength and a direction, to then branch out and see the LIGHT and the leaves that change colour during the autumn months and reaching for our destination.
Our Local Village Church nearby with its History where the gun powder plot was plotted but where today has uncovered wonderful paintings that depicts pictures Saints all those years ago.
The name of our Catholic Church in Town where I now attend is St Augustines who wasnt always a Christian but became one after his Mother died and then became the Bishop of Hippo in North Africa. The link we have in Africa is in Iganga which is more central Africa not far from Lake Victoria. The project I took with the infants school before I ever visited Iganga was "Colour our way from Daventry to Iganga with a rainbow here and a rainbow in Ignanga.
My favourite stai nglass windows are in Northamptonshire Churches ;- we have a William Morris design at Gt Brington bought in 1911 and replaced John the Baptist part of which is in the glass musuem above Ely Cathedral and the other still in Gt Brington , then over at Middleton Cheney where the altar has been bought down nearer the congregation and again William Morris design windows of St Catherine and St Augustine. I once met the curator of the William Morris museum in London who was interested in the windows of these churches.I had read the life of William Morris a few years ago and when he was asked to be a professor at Oxford he repled he had too many other things to do.
The last Pope had travelled the World with his Faith.Pope Benedict a theologian has said ;- Hope emerges as a virtue that transforms us from within, and makes us a source of Hope for our fellow human beings. In an age when so many place their Hopes in the goods they possess rather than in what makes for our true happiness., his message is timely.
The Steps we have to take;-..............................................................................
Thursday 4th June 2009;- Polling Day ;- an early start and at the Nene Hall from 8-10am and then part of an interviewing panel from 10-11.30am ;- a break then to swim, go to the bank and shop before lunch and calling into the Polling Station at Ashby Fields to place my own vote.
Back at Polling Station this afternoon before attending the Saxon later after 10pm.
A Steady Flow of Voters all day and we wait until the Count tomorrow for the County and then the European on Sunday evening.
I shall attend Mass on Saturday and then my son will be visiting for a meal.
Verification ;- Thursday 4th June 2009;- back to basics when sat watching each vote with a cross in place and then placed in piles of 25 paperclipped to start again but interesting to see how the vote is split this time and difficult to judge but hopeful that we'll continue to see blue in the County.Everyone worked hard throughout the evening and I departed and arrived home just before 1pm made a sandwich with a glass of milk before retiring to bed.
Good Morning / Good Morning / bright again this morning and what do we have in store for us today.? it was going to be interesting and yesterday I had annalysed results from 1983 and remember the swing in votes in the District when I began to help voluntary in the office above Lloyds bank. The General Election the year before in 1997 gave us the Labour Government we still have today who hold on...............................
think of the VALUES we are teaching our children in our cluster of schools today ;-
Truth / Honesty / Respect / Friendship / Forgiveness /
.I had voted in one of our Primary schools yesterday where "Friendship" was the Value taught this term. We have stood by each other through thick and thin ............................................showing each other the respect we deserve , we had planned for Change , Voted for Change and now we are going to Deliver Change with leadership / communication /a Change with Direct approach. working together in partnership............................................................................................
A 37.5% turnout in Northamptonshire and as the results were counted the map was slowly turning blue and there were 56 seats to the Conservatives.
The fruition of a well fought campaign and we were to hear more about the results in the Country with over 200 seats for Conservative C/Councils and 7 Councils gained.
I had smiled quietly as the results came in for Somerset and Derbyshire both Conservative gains and both areas I knew well and have met Councillors and Leaders only last year.
A Moment like this ;- I had sat quietly reflecting the proceedings today within the hustle and bustle of announcements, photos being taken and excitement as candidates had gained seats and thought it had all be worthwhile the wait, there had been times when I could have shouted too but patience and silence had prevailed.
We've got the Quality mark;- a distance apart..............loveX
Sunday 7th June 2009 ;- and I slept in this morning and will go for a swim soon before lunch.Today at home and then the European Count this evening which will also be interesting. The French Open this afternoon should give us ace serving and "Merci" for those days remembered when the sun shinned, the wine flowed and the good company where conversation just rolled and music played all day and night at the Musique Festive!!
Bonjour!! Bon Soir !!
A Time and Place awaits..................................................................................................
We're all in this Together!!
The European votes are now coming in and interesting to see the smaller parties gaining votes.
East Midlands have Two Cons seats which they already had and have remained the same over the Country but Labour have lost significant amounts of seats while other seats remain similar as before.Cons gained one seat in the SW and have three seats.
Interesting to follow the European results coming in with EPP the centre right party dominating Brussells.
Monday 8th June and the news announed;-
Genuinally Historic ;- with Labour taking third place to Conservatives leading and UKIP 2ndthe shape of the new party is clear ;- Centre Right in Brussells.
I have a visit to London planned on 15th/16th June with a meeting to attend at the University College with emphasis on 16-19yrs which I am qualified to teach Basic skills.
A late finish last night but up early today to begin Monday 8th June ;-
It was 1975 when I stepped from the cruise liner into Lisbon where there were still tanks about from the recent war and armed guards when I entered the bakery to buy cakes for lunch that day with a friend who lived there. I had also visited Tangier and Algesarius experiencing the
culture in those places.
June 2009 ;- 34yrs later ;-and 20yrs Voluntary work has given me the experience I have in Politics today but the experience of travelling and meeting many people between 1973 -1979 had also helped too.Today moving forward I havent planned any holidays this year , vice chair will keep me busy enough. My cycling classes on the playground begin this week with 7yr olds ;- two groups under supervision of their teachers each week for four weeks. Basic skills on the playground teaches them disipline, road safety and control of their bicycle, also the importance of wearing their helmet and a reflective jacket. I had qualified in 1998 for on-road cycling but now just take the younger children on the playground assisted by their teaches.
Saturday 13th June 2009 ;- slept in until 7.30am this morning and this afternoon will be the opening of the new Scout Hut.A quieter weekend with evenings at home and Mass @ 5pm on Saturday where I shall make the "Welcome" to the congregation at St Augustines RC church in Daventry. The National Anthem played on radio for the Queens birthday.
The walk to the Scout Hut I took a track I wasnt too sure about, climbed a gate into a field with rare sheep and another gate into the Scout camp walking past the activites of the scouts and then followed by the scout band along the track which led to the new scout hut.
The Daventry brass band played and there was presentations , the flag was raised and the sun shone while everyone enjoyed afternoon tea and cakes.
I had walked back to my flat from the Scout Hut taking about 25mins, ironed a skirt for Church and made a cup of tea. I passed young people walking through the Country Park and young cyclists with their father on my way along the paths to my flat. The children had gone ahead of their father who wore a peaked cap and his head kept bowed and I was getting quite warm now wearing my rustic coloured sweater and beige trousers and carrying my blazer I had worn at the opening of the new Scout Hut.
I shall attend Church now and relax later in my flat for the evening.

Sunday14th June 2009 ;- 6.50am ;- a bright morning, a good start to the day and I shall hoover through, clear dinning table and kitchen, later walk to the leisure club for a swim and then relax at home, Attended Mass @ 5pm last evening, made the Welcome to the congregation and read 2nd.
Next Sunday at the Civic service in Moulton I shall read 2nd. My childrens father had re-married eight years ago and I remained on my own with no relationships since divorcing in March 1998.
I have read in our local Churches for nearly thirty years since my daughter was born in 1980 and at yesterdays Mass made the agreement to remain as a Eucharistic Minister attending the sick, overseeing the dying or at Mass. I am usually a reserve at morning mass when there is noone else attending and have been for ten years since the previous Priest.
The RIGHT thing to do is to re-marry as many people do and have happy 2nd marriages, in the Public eye that would be correct, keeping the family unit together as my children do with their step brothers, sisters and mother.
A NEW FAMILY UNIT ;- but still a family where both parents have access to their children.
My children were brought up with four sets of grandparents from when they were born,a complete Family Unity where parents were divorced, re-married and keeping a family unit together, I keep in touch with inlaws in Yorkshire today after divorcing eleven years ago.
My answer is "YES" I will marry again. Marriage will be such a good preparation for the future, an example to set and the most simplest wedding is BEST and keeping a Family Unity together.
Time and Place ;-.....................................................................
Think Human and Realistic;-
Think Safety;-
Think Love;-for our children;- for each other;-
Think for the Future;-for Peace and Reconciliation;-
There are tough and difficult decisions ahead;- yours is far more difficult than mine, I can wait knowing theres hope.and I really do. " Wonderful"
I was stood by the Christian stand when he was announced and walked past and then on stage he talked of his age and I thought "gosh" he looked quite young. I had lived alone then for ten years and had decided on a luxury break away to Chesford. I wore black and white during the day then a new top and trousers for the evening.
I had seen him before on stage at the CWO conference when he spoke of women in difficult situations.
Marriage was to be for life but then in 1989 diagnosed with by-polar disorder the communication lapsed and we divorced in 1997. I had remained on my own, saw through the time the children were at Universities and also re-educated myself and was elected a Councillor in 2003.It had been a struggle but we got by, the children both had jobs in London and they treated me whenever I visited.I continued my voluntary work in many areas which was worthwhile and I still live alone today.
I fedback information on Mental Health to Shadow SOS for Health and he replied and we met at the Party Conference when I introduced myself.I had written about Mental Health since 1989 and it was good to share with others.
The atmosphere was a buzz at the Party Conference and I was stood by the Health Hotel when the Leader walked by with visitors.I had corresponded with him with our local newspaper enclosed and invited him to visit again to Daventry.A special lunch had been organised where he was invited, and later I corresponded with thanks and the next time we met was at the Spring Forum when he spoke on the Sunday.I had delivered for two mornings in Cheltenham, attended the dinner and then the Conference on Sunday. It was too busy on Saturday to get a seat.
We had also met in Coventry at the Transport Museum, glanced from a distance and I continued to the centre where I took photos and visited the Herbet History Museum and the Cathedral.
I had booked a bedsit No23 Central Hotel in Cheltenham that was less expensive than a single room in the bigger hotels and quite private with car park.
The recession has hit home and Ive made spending cuts not to attend any functions, conferences and no holiday this year and looking to purchase a smaller flat with no stairs. I had always attended alone to functions and conferences perhaps oneday I will be asked out especailly with the recession that will effect us for a long time.
I was thinking Human and realistic..............................................................................
Ive tested my bike this evening but will buy a hat next week before going further.
Monday ;- train to Streatham meeting my daughter when she arrives home from work.
Tuesday time to visit the British Museum before going to the University.
Monday ;- I visited the Surgery for a B/T this morning called into the Estate Agents and then
a swim at the Leisure Club before lunch.
A fast and efficient service by train from our localstation into LOndon and then to Streatham arriving early my daughters flat mate Caroline had let me in and made me a cup of tea.
We talked of the recession and how this would effect us especially with NHS services being charged for and how we could afford the extra costs.
Itwas raining hard by the time Emma arrived home from work and later we enjoyed dinner of a pasta dish and then later watching TV with chocolate and hot drinks. This would be the last time I stayed at my daughters as she was moving out of the City in July and returning to University to take a PGCE which will enable her to teach.I had seen both my dauhter & son through the Northants educations system, onto Universities and both having worked and lived in the City now for eight years. The meeting at the Uni College would be of interest especially with a new learning quarter planned in Town.
Tuesday morning and Emma had a day off and went for a run while I continued into the City, visiting the British Museum before attending the meeting at the University College.
The meeting had finished by 2pm and not far from Euston I made my way to the station and then realised I had left the bag with my cycling hat at the Uni and returned to collect it, still early I caught the 3.50pm train home.
The British Musuem was amazing , "wonderful"with so much to see I shall return another day.
In need of plenty of cold water when I returned home I went out for for short cycle making sure Id got a bottle with me.
The meeting at the University College gave food for thought. "How Long has this been going on" you would ask" and thinking ahead what is going to happen in the future?
A different Government has to "think ahead"plan for change and deliver change to a system set in its way for 12yrs, a system that has increased Mental Health and SEN in our schools today, with pressure and targets in our schools .
My children and their friends went through the system before this Government took over and have done well in their degrees at University and have had good jobs in the City.
My son attended Portsmouth to take a degree in Financial Management with only six students in his group and at graduation when he just missed getting an honours in that subject there were around 75% of students from Asia.
As a mother I had recognised my sons academic ability when he was young as well as my daughters creative ability and encouraged those abilities introducing as many social activities when they were younger.I have studied "Lev Vygotsky"who believed that children learn from their social activiites and the basics of their academic abilities are learnt before 7yrs old.
In the future we are going to need "teachers" in those core subjects and while a percentage of students are not taking those subjects today then we are going to have a shortage of "teachers".
My sons English teacher had said he wouldnt pass his grade @ English, I disagreed and I was right, he passed Oral English with an A and language with a B. We should know our childrens abilities as Parents from when they are young and encourage not putting any pressure and those abilities will shine through.
Laying a Solid Foundation;-as Parents we are looking at our childrens "Education" and not reflecting on the past with our own Education. Looking Ahead and the improvement we can make to a failing system, we have failing schools because of the system in place at present.
Being taught to teach;-
Today a meeting in Town and then a cycle ride from here around the Country Park and home again. A more relaxing swim today before lunch. My breathing much better today I only stopped for water once on my circular ride.It was ten years ago when I cycled each day around two villages before moving into Town.I first suffered Asthma about 15yrs ago when out walking and then cycling too. I learnt to remain calm and to breath gently, drinking plenty of water.
When days are free I shall cycle that route again and this will step up the fitness programme.
Another rain storm has just started, I had chosen the correct time to cycle and will go for a swim now.
September 1984 and Emma was starting school nearly twenty five years ago. She was insistant on having a school uniform to wearwhen she started and luckily the new headteacher and School Association had decided on a uniform for the school.Later came the logo of Kilsby Tunnel.
Emma was just four years old when she started at Kilsby School and within the first term was reading. That Christmas she had asked for a recoder and proper book and was soon reading Music too and in September 1985 began Daventry Music school going straight into the intermediate class.
The Headteacher and I remained friends and he was a good mentor as a teacher but also taught me how a good mother behaves and gave advice about my children and I was also visited by his eldest son before his marriage for advice on the service sheet.I remained at the school as Voluntary help until February 2003 not long before I was elected a Councillor.
I had taken my own small Cookery classes, helped with Educational visits and taken the swimming group to Daventry for over ten years assisting with classes at the leisure centre.Today the headteacher has retired and occassionly I met him and his wife at Twinning events. We were opposite side in Politics and he had realised Ihad met with the Leader of our Party this year.
25yrs to remain friends is good and thats the same with colleagues too.
.Any relationship would be decided between two people and thats where communication is crucial. The communication with my children has been really good, sometimes things are not said but we have all been aware and thats really good communication and I hope with a new relationship that will happen too.
You can imagine having two active children and then also running my own small business and then not having that communication or confidense and needing to build that self esteem once more how long that can take and how difficult that was.
I moved into my own property in October 1997 with a decree nisi and the divorce arrived in March 1998.There were no plans for a new realtionship and I keptmyself busy re-educatingand helping voluntary in Onley Prison for five years, at the Village School and with Children Come First. That was full time voluntary work (unpaid)
It was later in 2003 that I was elected a Councillor..
I was pleased to spend time with Emma this week before she moves onto to a new area of her live and I enjoyed having dinner with her in London.
It is nearly fifty years since I taught myself to swim and have swum regularly since then.We moved to Daventry in 1972 and I swam in the outdoor pool for 30yrs before it was closed. It was twenty years ago I joine the THF Hotel club and swam every day during the week and today my membership at Barcelo allows me to swim everyday.Still a little unsure of cycling I shall build up confidense again especially after my back gave way in April 2001. I have strengthened my back since then but still cautious it slipped again last August and I was able to ease it again in just four days but I also bought a new mattress which helped.
When you live alone, sleep alone, eat alone then your home is really important.I dont wear perfume so the strong smell of stale perfume had made me panic in my last flat, I had moved the bed and furniture. That week I had awoken not being able to move, told to keep mobile I was in pain for a long time after, I cooled the pain down with ICE packs.I eventually moved to this ground floor flat where there are no stairs and today have lost weight and slowly gaining strength again.I have slept better recently too. I have difficulty going up and down flights of stairs and this week in London I had taken comfortable pumps to wear and changed into smarter shoes at the University College.
I shall leave early tomorrow for the CWO AGM with lunch and speaker then later at 4pm the DDH Board meeting. This was re-arranged at the last minute so I might be alittle late.I have a long drive to near Nottingham.
I think June bursting out with "Blue" surprised a few people!!!.Don't You!!
Ive been a member of the Conservative Party since 1979.Annette Rosaline Dunn.
and LEA Governor for four years at the Village school remaining after as Voluntary helper I received a letter of thanks from the Conservatives locally.
I attended functions in the Village and attended my first meeting at Towcester when three Counties were considering merging their Police Forces.
I began helping in the office above Lloyds bank after I moved into Town 1997/8
We are now nearing the end of June and the end of The Carousel and we didnt get to a West End Theatre or even afternoon tea, the recession has meant cut backs for many and my budget doesnt include functions, conferences and holiday this year. The CWO conference in November is reasonable with interesting speakers and I can afford a visit to London then and will stay with my son.
1998-2009 ;- I have attended many functions and party conferences too, meeting many people and heard many interesting speakers.
Razzamatazz Robots will be the theme for holiday club this year when I shall assist from 10-14th August with one of the younger aged group.
1st July 2009 ;- a meeting with CYP looking at Mental Health and Wellbeing of Children.
a good sleep pattern at present and I shall hear back about the recent Blood test taken this week.I have lost weight and blood pressure low, this is all positive.I am taking daily exercise and keeping fit.and eating a healthy diet.My medication has kept me stable for twenty years and last August I wrote "Keeping the Mind Alive"
1st July 1989;- I was catering for a large Police function at Horton Cricket Club, the last function I catered for before closing my business with a stressful illness that was to take time to recover.
The meeting on 1st July 2009 ;- will be important to share views and experience.
I'm sat in my study at the finish of this carousel surrounded by colourful photos most of which I have taken, in Africa, Belguim,Greenwich,a best kept front garden and family too.
The poster board for Childrens Champion had been especially drawn at the conference in Liverpool in October 2008;- the transformation from being a childrens cookery teacher@ Kilsby School to Childrens Champion for DDC. " Action for Children" a new building launched on Draytonward last year esepcially for vunerable children.
Thearticle "Hot off the press" during the recent elections and playing the classic song from "Spirit" A Moment Like This.................................................................................
Everything Changes but beauty remains...................................................
The Way to Heal A Nation? important to share our views and experience. in languages from all over the World
I have one small trophy for "The Best Supporter" next to "Keep up the Good Work"
The close of The Carousel with a silent prayer and hope you've had time to stop& pray amongst the turmoil since Lent 2009.Amen.I just called to say................................................................
we'll meet again............Annette Rosaline Dunn............................
